We provide workshop that sought to equip young peacemakers with the capacity to enable them mediate peace and also preventing and countering violent extremism, how to detect radical messages or narratives within their communities, through this interaction they were able to learn, and understand different roles played by Women in mediation and peace building at the National and Regional, The National Countering Violent Extremism Strategy and mandate of the NCTC, Kenya National Action Plan on GBV, The Legal Framework on P/CVE , Disengagement and De-radicalization, Introduction to VE and push and pull factors of VE, Early Signs of Radicalization and Violent extremism, Early Warning & Response in PVE, The rational of Community Policing in P/VE, The role of Youth PVE and Global bodies; also peer learning and exchange activities on experience based encounters dominated the general sessions.
